Interpretation of the Student Rating Means

 

The means listed on the student rating reports are averages of the responses for the semester or term. Means are reported for the particular instructor at the university, the school/college, the department, the course and the individual section levels. Explanations are given in parentheses for each of these levels in the hypothetical example below.
